I'm not sure I can find adequate enough words to describe how incredibly happy and lucky I was to meet Phil and Greer in about 2014. Herbie, Imy and I will be eternally grateful and know that someone, somewhere, was looking down on us in favour the day we went over to meet them. Herbie, our beloved collie/spaniel cross found so much love and happiness with Phil and Greer. So much joy would radiate from him when he charged to their front door every morning. Phil and Greer didn't expect it, but they not only took on Herbie but they ended up taking on Imy and I too and I, for one, would not have been able to get through a challenging few years without them. They welcomed us all in, like family and we will always think of them as family. Phil completely adored Greer and it was so touching to observe. His turkey soup after Christmas was legendary and he stocked up my freezer. When I had a horrid stomach bug, he had Herbie to stay and dropped medicines at my front door when I was on my own. There are so many wonderful memories and anyone who is lucky enough to become friends with both Phil and Greer will always feel incredibly fortunate. RIP dear, dear Phil and ........ THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. Love always. Nicollette xx
